Juteberry to Focus on Sustainability at GPP 2022
Ankush Agarwal, the Managing Director of Juteberry India Private Limited, speaks exclusively to Print Pack about their participation at Gulf Print & Pack 2022
What is the theme of your participation at GPP this year?
Sustainability is going to be our theme of participation at GPP this year.
Which products and solutions will you be highlighting at the event?
Juteberry India Private Limited is a highly acclaimed name specialising in the manufacturing and export of a wide variety of Jute Bags, Canvas Bags, Cotton Canvas Bags, and aprons for various domestic and business requirements. At GPP 2022, we will throw the spotlight on our Jute and Cotton Bags, as a green alternative.
How has 2021 been for your company and what were the learnings from that year?
The year 2021 was tough. However, we started manufacturing disposable masks and made it through the pandemic, by being profitable, while our regular jute bag export market took a blow.
How is 2022 shaping up so far and how will you use the learnings from 2021 to better your strategies for this year?
Sustainability is something everyone is focusing on for 2022. As such, demand for our eco-friendly and sustainable products is increasing daily. We have expanded our reach and opened up a new business in different locations around the world to cater to the demand for our products.
Do you see a general trend towards eco-friendly packaging and sustainability goals in the packing industry?
Yes, of course. This should be the right direction. We are committed to offering eco-friendly products that are reusable, recyclable, and do not harm the ecology. Our bags are made of jute and cotton utlising an environmentally friendly manufacturing process. These products are a viable option against plastic bags.
What do you expect to achieve through your participation at GPP?
Through our participation at GPP, we would like to reiterate our commitment to this region through a strong presence in the MENA market.
